WaterSlides Kennewick — Official Safety Rules

We're all about big splashes, unforgettable parties, and making memories! But before the fun begins, safety comes first.

Please review these rules with everyone participating in your rental. Whether you're celebrating in Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, or anywhere in the Tri-Cities, we want everyone to have an amazing—and safe—experience!

👀 ADULT SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED

✅ A responsible adult must supervise the inflatable at all times while it's being used.

✅ Never leave children unattended.

✅ Make sure everyone understands the rules before participating.

The grown-ups are in charge of safety. The kids are in charge of having fun! 😎

⛈️ WEATHER SAFETY

🚫 Do not use inflatables during rain, thunderstorms, lightning, or unsafe wind conditions.

💨 Stop use if winds exceed 15 mph.

⚠️ If unsafe weather develops:

  • Have everyone exit immediately.

  • Turn off the blower when safe to do so, following the equipment's shutdown instructions.

  • Do not allow anyone back on until conditions are safe and the inflatable has been properly inspected, dried as needed, and fully reinflated.

When in doubt, everybody out!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 CAPACITY, AGE & SIZE LIMITS

✅ Follow the maximum rider capacity posted on each inflatable.

✅ Separate smaller children from larger children and adults.

✅ Group riders by similar ages and sizes.

✅ Take turns and avoid overcrowding.

Big kids and little kids shouldn't be colliding at the bottom of the slide! 💦

🩴 SHOES & SHARP OBJECTS STAY OFF

Before entering the inflatable, remove:

  • Shoes and sandals

  • Glasses and jewelry

  • Keys, phones, and sharp objects

  • Anything in pockets that could cause injury or damage

🚫 No objects that could puncture, tear, or damage the inflatable.

🍿 NO FOOD, DRINKS OR GUM

🚫 No food, candy, snacks, drinks, or chewing gum inside or on the inflatable.

Spills create slippery surfaces, and sticky messes are no fun for anyone!

Save the snacks for after your splash! 🍉

🚫 NO SILLY STRING

Silly string and similar chemicals can permanently damage inflatable materials.

⚠️ A $250 cleaning or damage fee applies if silly string is used on the equipment. Additional damage may be assessed under the rental agreement.

It's a water slide, not a silly-string battlefield! 😆

🔥 KEEP HEAT & FLAMES AWAY

Keep the inflatable safely away from:

  • Barbecues and grills

  • Fire pits and open flames

  • Heaters and hot equipment

  • Smoking materials and fireworks

🚫 No smoking or open flames near the inflatable.

🤸 NO ROUGHHOUSING

For everyone's safety:

🚫 No pushing, wrestling, tackling, fighting, or intentional collisions.

🚫 No flips, somersaults, or dangerous stunts.

🚫 No climbing on outside walls, safety netting, or inflatable structures.

✅ Be respectful, follow directions, and take turns.

Race your friends. Don't wrestle them! 🏁

🛝 SLIDE RULES

💦 Always slide feet first.

💦 One rider at a time per designated sliding lane, unless the equipment's posted instructions specifically allow otherwise.

💦 Wait until the previous rider has cleared the landing area before sliding.

💦 Exit the splash pool promptly.

🚫 No headfirst sliding, diving, jumping from the top, or climbing up the sliding surface.

🚫 Never block the bottom of the slide.

The only thing we want flying is the water! 🌊

🚪 ENTRANCES & EXITS

✅ Use only the designated entrance, ladder, and exit.

🚫 No jumping, running, or diving through entrances.

🚫 Do not bounce on steps or climb the outside walls.

🚫 Stay off mesh sides, blower tubes, and exterior surfaces.

Keep entrances and exits clear at all times.

🐾 PETS & EQUIPMENT

🚫 Keep pets away from the inflatable throughout your rental.

🚫 Do not move, disconnect, unplug, or alter the inflatable, blower, anchors, or other equipment.

🚫 Never allow anyone to play on an inflatable that is losing air.

If the equipment begins deflating, everyone must exit immediately.

Contact WaterSlides Kennewick for assistance before resuming use.

❤️ HEALTH & PHYSICAL SAFETY

Inflatable activities involve physical exertion, climbing, sliding, and landing in water.

Anyone who is pregnant, has heart or blood pressure concerns, back or neck problems, joint conditions, significant physical limitations, or another condition that could make participation unsafe should avoid use unless cleared by their healthcare professional.

🚫 Do not participate while impaired by alcohol or drugs.

Participants must be physically capable of safely using the equipment.

🚨 IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG

  1. Stop use immediately.

  2. Help everyone exit safely.

  3. For injuries or emergencies, call 911.

  4. For equipment problems, contact WaterSlides Kennewick at 509-539-8404.

Never attempt to repair or reposition inflatable equipment yourself.

We ask everyone to follow these safety rules so the party stays safe, fun, and stress-free.

If anyone repeatedly ignores the rules or behaves dangerously, they may be asked to stop participating.

All rentals are subject to the applicable rental agreement and the manufacturer's instructions posted on each inflatable. Where equipment-specific safety instructions are stricter, those instructions take priority.
